Angry Ginge could be embarking on a new career after the jungle as his co-star Alex Scott made a surprising revelation.

After coming the first star to be eliminated from I’m A Celebrity, the football pundit, 41, said in her exit interview that Lisa Riley, 49, is training the YouTuber, 24, to be an actor. Lisa is known for portraying the role of Mandy Dingle in the long-running ITV soap opera Emmerdale between 1995 and 2001, and from 2019 onwards.

It comes after claims that the star could pocket £5million in brand and TV deals after his success on the ITV show. The Twitch streamer, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, has been a fan favourite while in the jungle, earning the support of many who didn’t know him before I’m A Celeb. According to William Hill, Ginge is the new favourite to win the show, surpassing rapper Aitch, 25.

It has now been claimed that following his success in the jungle, the star could pocket new deals, with more job opportunities on the line. According to reports, Ginge has been re-signed by Red Bull as an ambassador for 2026.

The Sun also reported that bosses at JD Sports are said to be keen to ramp up their current deal with Ginge in the New Year. Ginge has already worked with the brand, appearing in their Christmas advert.

According to the newspaper, his team are in talks with other big brands in a bid to capitalise on the YouTuber’s popularity. A source said: “Ginge is set to rake in excess of £5million in 2026 thanks to a wave of major brand deals, TV opportunities and commercial tie-ins coming his way.

“And that’s just the start. There are multiple global brands in active discussions right now.” The source added more opportunities could come up after he leaves the jungle. “Ginge doesn’t even realise how massive this could get,” the insider said. “He’s just being himself and the world is falling in love with it.”

Meanwhile, Alex said she almost pulled out of the show after her girlfriend Jess Glynne’s mother had a stroke. However, she said Jess encouraged her to go to Australia. “It’s been a tough time for us and obviously her family, and it was a tough decision to come into the jungle, but then Jess never wanted me to step away from not doing it.”
