ITV stars play festive charades to flag mammoth Xmas film line-up

ITV has unveiled a series of Christmas ads, starring everyone from Masked singer star Davina McCall to Welsh crooner Tom Jones to reveal a host of films available to viewers this Christmas

ITV has got more than 400 films available this Christmas – and is letting viewers know with a string of adverts featuring a vast range of its biggest names.

In the ads the TV stars don their Christmas hats to play charades using some of the titles on offer, which include Love Actually, The Batman and It’s a Wonderful Life.

Those featured in the 30 different 20-second adverts include Ant & Dec, The Masked Singer’s Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan, The Voice UK’s Kelly Rowland, Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am plus Coronation Street’s Cath Tyldesley and Joe Duttine.

Many of the guesses being thrown out are wrong, but in one ad Will.i.am finally shouts: “Mrs Doubtfire!” and there are cheers to show he has got it right.

Declan Donnelly looks a bit doubtful afterwards as he mutters: “I don’t know if I can follow that…”

The famous faces leave each other in fits during their games of ‘Guess What’s On This Christmas’ while helpfully giving viewers insight into some of the titles available to watch or stream for free on ITV ad ITVX.
