Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen returns to Channel 5 on December 16 with girlfriend Jessica
Our Yorkshire Farm favourite Reuben Owen has been inundated with messages of support from devoted viewers following Channel 5’s announcement of his festive programme, Reuben Owen: Christmas in the Dales.
The young farmer is set to grace television screens once more on December 16, accompanied by girlfriend Jessica, younger brother Sid, and close mates Sonny and Capper.
According to the programme description, “It’s been a busy working year for Reuben Owen and his family and friends, and now the festive season has arrived in the Yorkshire Dales.
“We’ve watched Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben grow up with his eight siblings on their remote hill farm, where Christmases were always busy. And this year is no exception.
“Reuben and his girlfriend Jess want to spend their first Christmas together, and the young business owner is planning a yuletide party at Jess’s farm to thank family and friends for all their support with his workload this year,” reports the Express.
The description goes on, “But before they can celebrate, Reuben and his workmates Sonny and Capper, helped by Jess’s dad David, have a massive barn renovation project to take on.
“And while building work is going on, Reuben and Jess rear a flock of turkey chicks and must save the day when their festive feast flies off.
“Sonny and Sidney, Reuben’s younger brother, are forced to fell a Christmas tree by hand when the chainsaw is forgotten… and then drag it back to the car across a field full of turnips.
“And when the celebrations finally kick off, Santa makes a special guest appearance on a tractor-towed sleigh to bring joy to everyone.”
The announcement was met with excitement from fans who took to social media to express their delight.
