Everything we know about Arsenal’s transfer activity
- Arsenal are reportedly pursuing a deal for Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, who has expressed a preference for the move. It is claimed the 23-year-old German international is frustrated with his current role at Dortmund and favours joining Arsenal over rival interest. The Bundesliga club is reportedly holding out for a fee in the region of £75million.
- The club has reportedly reached an agreement to sign Ecuadorian twins Edwin and Holger Quintero from Independiente Del Valle. The 16-year-old attacking duo are in London to finalise personal terms, with Edwin playing as a winger and Holger being an attacking midfielder. Due to FIFA regulations on minors, they will not officially join the Arsenal academy until they turn 18 in August 2027.
- Arsenal’s recruitment team is closely monitoring Elche’s highly-rated midfielder, Rodrigo Mendoza. The 20-year-old Spaniard has a buy-out clause of around £17.5m and is seen as a high-potential target, drawing comparisons to Barcelona’s Pedri. Scouts have watched him multiple times, viewing him as a bargain addition for the future.
- The Gunners are linked with a move for Girona defender Arnau Martinez. The 22-year-old has been linked with an exit this summer, as have a number of Girona stars. According to Footmercato, Arsenal have now made a bid for Martinez.
- There is ongoing speculation around a potential loan exit for striker Gabriel Jesus, possibly until the end of the 2025/26 season. With the Brazilian having faced recurring knee issues, a temporary move to regain match fitness and form is an option being considered.
- Sporting director Andrea Berta is prioritising contract negotiations for key first-team players, most notably Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice, as well as star player Bukayo Saka, whose deal expires in 2027. This strategic focus ensures the core of Mikel Arteta’s squad remains locked down for years to come.
