Everything to know so far about Reading and Leeds Festival 2026

  • The Reading and Leeds Festival has revealed the first six headlining acts for the 2026 event. The major names confirmed are Charli XCX, Dave, Raye, Fontaines DC, Florence and the Machine, and Chase and Status.

  • The Leeds Festival site is introducing a new tradition by opening its Main Stage on the Thursday evening. Kasabian is confirmed to be the inaugural headliner for this special opening night at Bramham Park.
  • The annual dual-site event will once again take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The dates for 2026 are set for August 27 to 30, at the established sites of Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds.
  • The initial announcement also included several other artists spanning various genres, confirming the event’s diverse line-up. Other confirmed acts include Skepta, Role Model, Kneecap, Chris Stussy (Reading only), and Sombr.
  • The revealed list represents only the initial wave of acts for the 2026 festival line-up. Organisers have confirmed that many more artists will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
