Reality TV star Zara McDermott and former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson have been spotted looking loved-up on a cosy date date. The sighting comes as romance rumours about the pair continue to grow.
Strictly Come Dancing star Zara, 28, and musician Louis, 33, were snapped at a hotel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, by a fellow guest as they enjoyed a romantic meal for two following a string of past dates. Zara’s budding romance with Louis comes just weeks on from her split from Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson.
The former Love Island star and her new beau Louis were seen giggling and holding hands while they dined on £100 fish and chips plus cocktails during the outing. “They looked every bit the happy couple,” one onlooker said of the hot new couple. Zara and Louis were spotted at Aldeburgh’s The Suffolk where rooms cost up to £315 a night.

The guest who snapped the pictures of the two stars tucking into their £100 whole brill and chips remarked how the pair looked like they were “having a great time” as they touched hands across the table. They noted how “Zara had a few cocktails” and “Louis was really making her giggle” as they spoke for ages in the swanky venue.
Zara is seemingly healing her heartbreak with the One Direction member and has shown she’s over podcaster Sam with her recent actions. Last month, Zara took a break to focus on herself, embarking on a month-long trip to Thailand. This followed the news of Zara’s separation from Sam at the start of this year, after they spent Christmas apart despite living together.
The couple have largely kept quiet since their abrupt split, but have thrown subtle jabs at the demise of their relationship. However, it appears Zara is quite satisfied with her decision to move on from Sam as she has taken the major step of buying her own property.
In addition to exploring the property market, Zara is also enjoying dipping her toe in the dating pool with her recent outings with singer Louis. Speaking to The Sun, a source revealed “Louis whisked Zara away” for their recent break in Suffolk and charmed the reality TV star.

“Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara,” the insider told the publication. “He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special. They share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families.” They added that Zara and Louis are taking things slow at the moment but are “enjoying each other’s company”.
Rumours Zara has moved on with the One Direction singer began to swirl last month when fans spotted Louis, along with his siblings Lottie, Daisy, and Phoebe, are now all following Zara on Instagram. A fan even highlighted this peculiar web of follows on Reddit, positing: “I’ve read a lot of rumours that Louis is in a relationship with Zara McDermott. They recently started to follow each other on instagram. She follows all of his sisters, and they follow her back.”
But there’s also talk that Zara’s link to the Tomlinsons might be strictly professional, given her background in documentaries and buzz about a potential family show. A social media user speculated: “I think there is a documentary about the Tomlinson’s being produced since the sisters are interested in being England’s version of the Kardashians. Zara has worked on documentaries, maybe she is involved with that.”
