CELEBRITY Big Brother stars Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa have been called out by fans for using a “code” to say I love you.
It came straight after the pair – who insist they are “soulmates” and their friendship is purely platonic – clarified their relationship status in an interview on Monday’s This Morning.
The CBB alumni then headed to film a TikTok video for the ITV daytime show’s social media channel, where fans spotted their heart-warming trait.
As they answered a question on their dream spy house co-star past or present – responding with each other – fans noticed how Dance Moms alum Jojo tapped Chris twice on the shoulder.
He returned the favour and performed the gesture on her leg.
The actress and dancee then did the same on his jeans as she said: “Fairly obvious we would pick each other.”

Yet fans noticed something significant in their body language, with one taking to the comments to write: “Does anyone else think that them double tapping each other is code to say I love you?
“They do it a lot.”
A second wrote: “You are on to something.”
A third then put: “I thought I was the only one who realised those constant taps, like some secret code.”

One then insisted: “It’s defo code.”
The comments emerged after JoJo touched down on home turf to be met by a hug from her mum.
She then exclusively told The Sun of meeting her “best friend” Chris on the show – as well as taking a swipe at ex Kath Ebbs.
Kath, 27, revealed they had been dumped by the Dance Moms alum during the wrap party for the ITV reality series.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Australian content creator Kath, said they were in “complete shock” and felt “numbed out and humiliated” after being dumped by JoJo.
They had told how dancer JoJo had “fallen in love” with Chris during their time in the compound.

CELEBRITY Big Brother’s voting percentages have been revealed.
As she left the terminal building, JoJo told us of her feelings about the show and her “romance” with Chris.
On the ITV series she said: “Oh I would do it again in a heartbeat.
“I would do big brother 50 times over again.
“Because it was incredible, it was life changing, it was magical.
“I got to meet a best friend,” referring to ITV Racing pundit Chris.
As she packed her car up with her cases JoJo added she hoped to the back in the UK soon as there was “a lot of people I’ll miss over there,” again seemingly referencing the reality TV hunk.

It came hours after JoJo clarified her relationship status with Chris in an interview on Monday’s This Morning.
Speaking about where Chris and JoJo go from here, regarding their “close” friendship, Chris said they have a “really strong bond” – calling it a “soulmate friendship”.
Chris said: “Our friendship, it’s hard to explain… it’s just a really strong bond between two people, it’s just a strong friendship.
“I think you can have a soulmate friendship, that’s the thing.
“To me, it’s that energy when it’s not the standard friendship you have with your friends, but it’s still a friendship, we are friends.
“It’s nice, I found it strange because it was such a strong friendship.
“Having someone in there to go through an experience like that and have someone there everyday when you’re emotional, when you’re happy… that was beautiful, that was genuinely an amazing thing.”
Ben then grilled the pair and asked if it was just “platonic” or if it could develop into something “romantic”.
JoJo laughed and said: “He’s a gorgeous boy, look, he’s a great guy, it is platonic, we have a lot of fun together.
Life is life and I don’t know any future of anything but I’m really grateful for the dynamic that we have and the bond that we have.
“Whatever life does, life will do.”
JoJo’s blossoming connection with co-star played out through their time in the ITV show.
During their stint in the compound, the duo left viewers confused over their seemingly “flirty” behaviour, which saw JoJo and Chris secretly hold hands in the bedroom.
Chris then asked JoJo to lick his shorts in a move some found bizarre while he also stripped naked in front of the actress before heading for an off-camera chat.
Chris even offered to have JoJo’s babies in another shock remark.

It comes as a source previously told The Sun: “JoJo and Chris have been the talking point of the series, with the ‘will-they won’t-they’ narrative.
“Even if it’s purely platonic, as they claim, fans are convinced Kath must be furious about the endless physical contact, at least.”
