Californian ‘Saran Wrap killer’ Michaela Rylaarsdam lived a secret life as an escort before allegedly ending the life of a client who wanted to be covered in the kitchen plastic ‘like a mummy’.
She has an internet page in which she boasted of her sexual exploits, charging up to $1,500 ‘plus a generous tip’.
‘Not only do I have all the right curves in all the right places, but in contrast, I have a slender build, juicy lips, and kinky curls that bounce all over the place while I dance and laugh making it very hard not to fall in love with me.’
Rylaarsdam, 31, who uses the porn name Asshley SinCal, is currently in jail in California awaiting trial for the asphyxiation death of Michael Dale, 55.
Video showed him completely covered in kitchen wrap and court documents say Rylaarsdam glued women’s boots on his feet at his request.
Dale died two years ago but she has only just been arrested and charged with second degree murder.
On her page on the escort site Secret Hostess, Rylaarsdam says she goes by the name Asshley adding ‘the h is silent’.

According to court documents, Dale paid Rylaarsdam more than $11,000 to ‘have conversations with him and to come to his house, tie him up and perform other acts of bondage.’
On Secret Hostess though her most expensive package is listed at $1,500 for the ‘ultimate incall’.
A ‘wild incall’ costs $1,100 and a mild one $800. Outcalls are $300 cheaper in each case.
She also listed a FaceTime or Zoom play show at $150 and a ‘toy show’ at $200 and said she liked a $25 non-refundable deposit that ‘can be made via Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo, PayPal or invoice’.
Police investigating Dale’s death at his home in Escondido, California, say Rylaarsdam told them it was the first time she had engaged in fetish behavior.
She put up her Secret Hostess page on April 9, 2024, eight days shy of the first anniversary of Dale’s death.
The shocking alleged crime is in marked contrast to the life Rylaarsdam presents on one of her social media profiles.
Dressed in white and wearing simple, tasteful makeup, the stunning mother-of-three beams for the camera alongside husband Brandon, who’s dressed in complementary colors.
But she lived a much seedier life in private, with the full knowledge of her husband who allegedly helped run their ‘business’.
When contacted by DailyMail.com, Brandon said ‘I would prefer not to speak on it, we are letting our lawyer take care of that.’
Disturbing video obtained from the Rylaarsdam’s phone showed Dale inside the bag for around eight minutes, as well as other clips of him struggling to breathe after duct tape, a plastic bag and Saran wrap were placed over his mouth, the filings state.
Dale’s arms and legs had been bound with plastic meaning he was unable to remove the bag or wrappings from his head, according to the affidavit.
As he lay unresponsive, Rylaarsdam was performing a sex act nearby by for her OnlyFans page, prosecutors allege.
The clip was taken moments before she called 911 and began CPR on Dale, according to the affidavit.
Dale was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brain dead the next day.
His cause of death was linked to deprivation of oxygen to the brain according to the coroner.
‘The evidence showed that he hired her to perform bondage acts and fetish acts,’ said Deputy District Attorney David Jarman told the San Diego Union Tribune.
‘There is no indication that he asked her to obstruct his breathing, asked her to put tape over his mouth, asked her to put a plastic bag over his head.’
Rylaarsdam denied placing a bag over Dale’s head and has pleaded not guilty to the second-degree murder charge.
Her attorney Dan Cohen said his client did not mean to kill Dale, noting that while consent is not a defense it is ‘certainly a mitigating factor.’
‘I think there was no intent to kill and no attempt to cover this up,’ he said. ‘And she acted appropriately when she realized this was a problem.
‘There is definitely a consensual element — not only something he consented to, something he was actively seeking.’
He also questioned the cause of death, claiming Dale had alcohol and prescription drugs in his system at the time.
