I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Ruby Wax faces her fears in a first glimpse at the next Bushtucker Trial – while Ant McPartlin takes a cheeky pop at her expense.

Comedy legend Ruby, 72, is facing a challenge called Misfortune Tellers – with the hosts even having a crystal ball.

A first look at the trial shows Ruby entering a fortune teller’s box to untie stars attached to branches.

However, this is I’m A Celebrity, so of course the comedian is joined by a snake positioned above her head.

As Ruby enters the box, Ant takes a swipe by pretending to ‘read’ the crystal ball and telling co-host Declan Donnelly: ‘I think she’s going to get one star… in this one.’

This prompts Dec to ask ‘just one?’, leading to the duo ‘reading’ the crystal ball together and saying in unison: ‘Yes.’

Comedy legend Ruby Wax is taking on the next I'm A Celebrity trial - Misfortune Tellers - but it doesn't look like plain sailing

A snake is shown coming very close to Ruby's face - as she tries to complete the trial and not panic

Co-presenter Ant McPartlin, along with pal Declan Donnelly, couldn't resist taking a cheeky swipe

Ruby soon gets to work  untying the star, only for the snake to slither down and whip her face.

‘Your old friend the snake’s in there’, Ant remarks just as the challenge begins.

Ruby remarks: ‘I love them, you know I love them’, as she gets to trying to win food for camp.

Continuing, Ant advises for her not to pay any attention to the snake to which Ruby agrees.

The presenter pair also reference Ruby’s performance previously in the trial, praising her ‘technique’ compared to earlier.

I'm A Celeb fans claimed Ruby let the power 'go to her head' after she was became the camp's new leader on Sunday

With the snake potentially obstructing her view, will Ruby be able to complete the challenge successfully?

It comes as viewers branded Ruby as ‘unbearable’ after her antics in Sunday’s (November 30) episode of the ITV show.

She replaced Shona McGarty as camp leader after the EastEnders alum gave up the role for breaking contraband rules and using smuggled butter in the cooking.

Despite having complained about Shona taking her role too seriously and making herself a crown from jungle woodland, viewers noted it didn’t take long for Ruby to then do exactly the same.

They declared the the funny woman ‘unbearable’ after she constructed herself a dramatic veil and strutted around camp.

Taking to X they said: ‘Ruby was unbearable now they’ve made her camp leader and she’s worse than unbearable I can’t stand her’: ‘Ruby is so much worse than Shona with letting her being leader and it going to her head’.

‘So, Ruby has a go at Shona for her making an outfit when she was a leader and how she thought the power was going to her head, and now she’s doing the same???’: ‘Ok Ruby as camp leader was an absolutely horrific choice’.

Later in the episode, fans were devastated after funnyman Eddie Kadi, 42, became the second celeb eliminated from the show.

His exit followed former Lioness Alex Scott, 41, who became the 2025 cast’s first departure two days earlier.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
