Maya Jama and her mum are celebrating Mother’s Day with a joint campaign.
The Love Island host, 30, proudly shared photos of her age-defying mother Sadie, 48, as they starred together in a new shoot for her Beauty Works hair extensions range.
The mum and daughter sported matching hairstyles, thanks to Maya’s clip in fringes and extensions, in the stunning photos.
A behind the scenes video showed the duo having fun on set as they danced and brushed each other’s hair.
‘The best shoot days are ones with my family❤️’ a proud Maya captioned the carousel.
Maya, has opened up about her very close relationship with her mother in the past.
She revealed their relationship is ‘a bit different’ because her mum had her when she was very young.
She told the Evening Standard: ‘She had me at 18, so our relationship was a bit different. I rebelled less because I was quite free.
‘My mum’s always been like, ‘I want you to have your experiences — just tell me. I’m not going to judge you or shout at you’.’
The star also admitted that her mother has a wild side, saying: ‘She’s banned from my parties though. She gets too drunk.’
Maya has been the face of Beauty Works for the past year, the latest step in her hugely impressive career which has seen her front a number of TV and radio shows before landing the coveted ITV role ay host of Love Island.
The star has a number of brand deals, such as Maybelline, Dolce & Gabbana, Rimmel London and has recently collaborated with with Gordon’s gin.
Away from her work life, the TV star is currently enjoying a new romance with Portuguese footballer Ruben Dias, 27.
The brunette beauty has reportedly been secretly dating the Manchester City player since the pair met at the European Music Awards in November.
Rumours surrounding the pair’s romance later intensified after Ruben shared a photo from his New Year celebrations in Ibiza.
The snap was of two people gazing at a sunset with their faces obscured, and fans became convinced it was Maya.
The pair have kept their romance relatively under wraps – but earlier this month Gary Lineker seemingly confirmed their relationship by referencing her ‘boyfriend’.
On Sunday, Maya was in the stands at José Alvalade Stadium to see her footballer beau win 5-2 for Portugal in their clash against Denmark for the Nations League quarter-final second leg.
And after the win, Maya celebrated with Manchester City centreback Ruben, posting a social media snap of their romantic fireside retreat at 3:30am.
The snap is believed to have been taken at the footballer’s Cascais region home, with a vast swimming pool and fire pit glimpsed in the picture.
