Nicole Kidman‘s nepo baby daughter Sunday Rose has landed her first fashion cover for Nylon’s ‘It Girl’ issue for the month of August.
The 17-year-old budding model – who made her professional runway debut for Miu Miu last October – opened up about a variety of topics as she spoke with the outlet, including two major ‘rules’ from her famous parents.
She is the eldest daughter of the Oscar-winning actress and singer Keith Urban – who also share Faith Margaret, 14. Nicole also adopted Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, during her past marriage to Tom Cruise.
Sunday Rose graced the cover of the publication while wearing a brown leather jacket as well as a matching miniskirt from Prada.
Her locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.
Sunday Rose made her debut in the modeling world at the age of 16 when she walked the runway for Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 show in Paris in October 2024.
And while talking to Nylon, she explained why she waited to begin modeling until then.
‘There are two big rules. The first was that I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16,’ Sunday Rose revealed.
‘And the second is that school always has to come first, which at first I hated, but I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset.’
Along with strutting on the catwalk last year, Sunday Rose had the chance to walk the runway for Miu Miu once again earlier this year in March amid Paris Fashion.
At the time, the mom-of-four cheered on the budding model by sharing a snap of her daughter on the catwalk along with the sweet message, ‘Love you baby! @sundayrose.’
Her mom Nicole previously opened up about her support of her teenage daughter and explained how she introduced Sunday Rose to the fashion world.
During an interview with Vogue Australia, the Babygirl actress said, ‘She’s about to turn 16. That’s what I told her, when she was 16 she was allowed to come to a show. She’s wanted to go for a long time.
‘That was her foray into it, and that was it. I’m like, “No, no more.” It’s a push-pull. I don’t want to hold her back because I don’t want to be coddling her.’
During her Nylon cover story, Sunday Rose also admitted that she will often borrow clothes from her mother’s closet.
When asked to reveal one piece of clothing that she often takes, the model said, ‘Oh gosh, if I had to pick one it would be impossible.
‘I take everything from my mom’s closet. I sometimes joke with her that it’s my favorite store.’
Sunday Rose further showed off her modeling skills for the publication while striking a pose wearing a denim shirt from A.W.A.K.E. Mode as well as a gray shawl on top.
She additionally wore a patterned skirt from Saint Laurent and slipped into a pair of closed-toed white pumps.
The teenager flashed a cheerful smile as she stood on top of two metal chairs in front of a plain white background.
She donned a long-sleeved pink top as well as a light brown skirt from Miu Miu, while a fuzzy scarf was draped over her shoulders.
Sunday Rose also sported a vibrant green top as well as black trousers as a patterned scarf added an additional pop of color to the look.
Since her modeling debut last year, the teen has been keeping busy and recently starred in an Omega campaign last month in July.
Nicole has worked closely with the luxury watch brand for over a decade and Sunday Rose expressed that collaborating with the company felt like a ‘full circle moment.’
‘To be able to follow in my mom’s footsteps with this brand is such a full circle moment for me,’ she told Tatler Asia. ‘Omega is such an amazing brand and has been a part of my family my entire life.
‘It is such an honour to be given the opportunity to work with them. I really admire how they have such an amazing history and still maintain a great youthfulness in their brand.’
Earlier this year in January, Sunday Rose appeared in the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2025 Duets campaign.
Keith has also voiced his support of his daughter entering the world of modeling while talking to People last year and gushed that he is ‘very proud.’
He then added, ‘Hopefully we can just help her keep balance with everything through all of that.’
Last year in April, both Sunday Rose and her younger sister Faith Margaret made their red carpet debut at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala with their parents.
