Ant McPartlin in 30 minute queue for Carabao Cup final as he ditches Declan Donnelly

Newscastle fan Ant McPartlin has shown his footie pride without best mate Declan Donnelly as he queued up with fans for half and hour to get into Wembley.

The Britain’s Got Talent host rocked up to the world famous football stadium solo as he donned his best black and white outfit. He was seen heading down Wembley Way in a black jacket and black jeans with white trainers and a black and white cap. Ant added a Newcastle scarf and a pair of dark shades as he was filled with anticipation ahead of their match with Liverpool.

The new dad beamed on his way into the ground to watch his beloved team try their best to take home the Carabao Cup. Ant brushed off any pre-match nerves and celebrity status as he waited thirty minutes alongside his fellow Geordies in queuing up to get into Wembley Stadium. Despite best mate and co-star Dec being in the same stadium, the pair weren’t sat next to each other for the nail-biting clash and didn’t arrive together.

Ant’s dedication to his team comes as Newcastle are hoping to lift their first major trophy since 1969 despite Liverpool being the favourites to win the competition for an 11th time. He has had a weekend off his busy schedule as Britain’s Got Talent was removed from the TV schedules last night to make way for the Six Nations Live match.

The TV star kicked off the year with a winter getaway with wife Anne-Marie Corbett and they didn’t care who was watching as they packed on the PDA. Ant enjoyed a playful moment in the sea during their luxurious winter getaway to Barbados. The couple, who tied the knot last year and recently welcomed their first baby together, were seen splashing in the waves outside the exclusive Fairmont Royal Pavilion hotel on the island’s stunning western coast.

Their stay at the posh resort, where other celebs like Kylie Minogue and Justin Bieber have stayed, offers oceanfront views and starts at a hefty $2298 (£1,862) per night. Ant and Anne-Marie, who welcomed son Wilder last year, also live in luxury when at home. The pair call a stunning £6 million mansion in Wimbledon home having moved into the lavish property in 2019, after Ant’s divorce from Lisa Marie Armstrong a year earlier.

Ant’s prorities have changed since becoming a dad and husband as he admitted to not having as much time to spend with Dec. He recently admitted: “The kids take up a lot of your time, and we rush home to our families to see them when we finish working,” before Dec, who has Isla, six, and Jack, two with his wife Ali, revealed they ‘used to’ spend so much time together.

However, their lives ‘changed over the past five or six years’. Speaking to The Sun, Dec added: “We still meet up on days off to have a game of golf or go out for dinner. We’re just not joined at the hip…”
