Patsy Kensit has revealed she is “feeling isolated” as she shared a heartbreaking update. The actress, 56, admitted to having the “saddest week ever” following her recent post-traumatic stress disorder diagnosis.
She received the support from her celebrity pals after making the candid confession. Patsy shared a somber snap of herself staring up at a statue as she penned: “It’s the end to the most saddest week ever. The weekends are always hard as I can feel isolated and I worry constantly… tomorrow is a new day – breath work, meditation and exercise.”
Patsy added: “God bless anyone who can relate to any of this… love and light.” The former EastEnders star was sent messages of support as Lisa Faulkner commented: “Sending you my love.” Natalie Appleton added: “Sending so much love to you darling.” EastEnders co-star Tracy-Ann Oberman wrote: “Sending love Pats x.”
Just last month, Patsy revealed she had been diagnosed with PTSD after opening up on her “bad day”. She emotionally shared: “Today has been a hard day. Today I feel mislead and hurt. I was diagnosed with PTSD at the end of last year and really turned a major corner and was feeling great.
“I don’t feel great today. I feel grateful but sad. Anyone who has dealt with mental health issues and depression will understand and know that you are not alone…When I’m working I feel none of the above.. I’ve just finished filming. I will meditate and try and raise my frequency to bring positivity back into my life. Today is just a bad day.”

According to the NHS, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition caused by very stressful, frightening or distressing events. Someone with PTSD often relives the traumatic event through nightmares and flashbacks, and may experience feelings of isolation, irritability and guilt.
Patsy has also recently hit out at the ‘chauvinistic world’ after asking people to stop asking her about her famous ex-husband, Liam Gallagher. She begged fans to stop asking her about her relationship with the Oasis singer, and went on to air her frustrations over women being defined by the relationships they were in. She said in a new interview: “It’s only frustrating because we live in a very chauvinistic world. I understand why people want to ask [about exes].”
“I met Jane Asher once. She’s a very accomplished actress and what did I ask about? Her relationship with Paul McCartney when she was young. I was an idiot! You know, people think you’re made of Teflon,” she explained to Good Housekeeping. Since last summer, Patsy has been inundated with questions about her ex, Liam after he and Noel Gallagher announced their reunion.
Fans were over the moon as the iconic duo announced a huge tour, which saw them scrambling to purchase tickets to see the brothers in their first Oasis performances since 2009. Patsy was married to Wonderwall singer Liam from 1997 until 2000 and they welcomed a son named Lennon together in September 1999.
While fans have been thrilled about the news, it seemed like Patsy was getting ticked off with people constantly asking her about the live music plans. In a social media post shared last year, the EastEnders actress wrote: “I will say no more than this I am really happy for Liam and Noel. I’m sure the tour is going to be thrilling and I send nothing but love and light to them both… No more questions it was 25 years ago.”
