I’m A Celeb star lifts lid on UK porn industry and visit UK’s ‘biggest swingers club’

An I’m A Celebrity star has made their first foray into documentaries – with an eye-opening deep dive into the world of Britain’s porn scene including a visit to a swinger’s club

I’m A Celeb star GK Barry has announced her documentary debut, which sees her take viewers inside the jaw-dropping truths of the UK porn industry. In Faking It, the former jungle star – whose other half is Portsmouth midfielder, Ella Rutherford – takes an unfiltered deep dive into Britain’s porn industry.

During the eye-opening documentary, she visits the UK’s biggest swingers club – and grills creators at the “Porn Star University”.on what’s real vs. staged when it comes to performances between the sheets.

Delivered with her usual mix of humour and no-holds-barred honesty, GK – who rose to fame on social media and is now a TV presenter, including regular appearances on Loose Women, reveals how porn is shaping the sex lives – and expectations of young people in Britain.

Including candid interviews with porn stars Andy Lee, Katy Summers and Josh Lane, who is a former porn addict, the 26-year-old tackles themes of body image, addiction and consent, posing difficult questions as she unveils an industry few get to see up close.

Throughout the film, GK asks the questions many of us have quietly wondered: Can viewers really tell the difference between porn sex and real intimacy? Where does responsibility lie – with creators or consumers? Can any porn be truly authentic?

GK said “Going behind the scenes with LADbible was eye-opening to say the least! I went in not knowing what to expect but the experience made me challenge my own perceptions of porn and the people behind it.

“I hope the episode will have the same impact on viewers, so that young people realise what they are watching isn’t always the full picture.”

The eye-opening documentary forms part of LADbible’s For F*ck’s Sake campaign that is encouraging open conversations about porn, sex, and relationships, and calling for better sex education and government action on porn’s long-term impact.

Meanwhile, the TV star, who was in the jungle last year, has revealed some secrets about camp – including when they’re given clean clothes and how they’re told the time.

Answering questions from intrigued fans in a video on her TikTok page, she explained that campmates were only given clean clothes if they had to do a trial involving fish guts – anything else they had to wash it themselves in the creek

“When it comes to clothing, you get two sets of everything,” she said. “So two sets of shorts, T-shirts, one fleece, trousers, and you do not get fresh clothing unless you’ve been in a trial that involves fish guts.” If that happens, they “have to then give you a change of clothes”.

Speaking of washing in the creek, GK said that many of the female campmates took in bikini bottoms instead of knickers, because they’re quicker to wash and dry.

“Another thing is you have to bring in obviously your own underwear, but a lot of the women would bring in just bikinis,” she said. “So like bikini bottoms, because they’re so much easier and quicker to dry in the creek.”

She also revealed, “There is a psych, ours was a lady, that will be travelled into camp if you’re struggling,” she explained.

“She was lovely, she talked me through everything. So the people that you’re seeing having down days will either speak in the Bush Telegraph or they’ll get the psych.”
