Fans were gutted when former Top Gear Hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond called time on their Prime Video series Grand Tour, but another face is reportedly being eyed up as a new presenter – a huge TikTok star!
The series ended at the end of last year, with a one off special final episode titled One For The Road airing in September 2024. It marked the end of the show, and the end of the beloved trios 19-year partnership. The hosts decided to end the show in good time, before they “ruined it” or ran out of ideas.
However, it looks like fans of the show may be able to look forward to new episodes in the future, as it’s reported train spotter and TikToker Francis Bourgeois is being “eyed up” for the role of host, a source told The Sun.
“Francis is a big noise online and Amazon producers are hoping to bring him into the mainstream,” a source told the publication. He is loved by everyone – from royals to rappers – and is sure to be a hit with Grand Tour viewers.

“Francis is not just a social media sensation but trained as a mechanical engineer so knows his stuff.” The star, whose real name is Luke Magnus Nicolson has a huge 3.3 million followers on TikTok, where he entertains fans with his railway videos.
The Mirror have contacted Amazon for comment.
His video ‘bumping into’ Kate Middleton and Prince William on a carriage went viral as he was invited by them as they travelled on London’s Elizabeth line.
In the build up to the King’s Coronation in 2023, the Prince of Wales and Kate paid a visit to a London pub using the Elizabeth Line, named after the late Queen, to Tottenham Court Road in Soho. The couple visited the Dog and Duck pub, where they both ordered a pint of cider.

On their travels, they also met Francis, who made the video documenting his experience. In the clip, the star was seen walking through Tottenham Court Road station wearing a GoPro. He was then seen running to his train when n William and Kate suddenly walk by as they prepared to leave the tube.
Walking over to the star, the Princess of Wales said “Very nice to meet you.”
“Hi, eh, nice to meet you. I hope you enjoyed the Elizabeth Line,” the star awkwardly responded.
Last year, James May revealed that the end of the show didn’t mean the end of the beloved trio for good. “I’ve spoken to them a few times and I suspect we’ll go out for a beer somewhere,” he told Radio Times.
The star added that unlike past meetings, which were based around work, their next reunion could be more relaxed. “Just because we can, not because we have to come up with some gags, plan a road trip or choose some cars, but for the hell of it. It’d be quite interesting,” he explained.
