Jeremy Vine co-host Storm Huntley gives birth to second child and shares incredible first photo

TV host Storm Huntley has delighted fans by announcing the arrival of her second baby.

The 38-year-old presenter is known for her work on Jeremy Vine’s Channel 5’s daily live morning phone-in debate programme, inventively titled Jeremy Vine. Just one week ago, Storm began her maternity leave, disappearing from the programme in order to prepare to welcome her second child.

And on Sunday, she took to social media to show off her baby daughter – by uploading a incredible photograph of them posing together. A snap showed the tiny newborn looking towards her mother while holding her fist thoughtfully under her chin.

Storm mirrored the pose, creating an adorable mother-and-daughter first photograph moment. She then shared a second photograph of her baby wrapped up in a white blanket and wearing a tiny, striped hat.

Sharing the snaps on Instagram, the TV star wrote: “And just like that… My heart has doubled in size. Welcome to the world little one. Sloan Blue Okan. 6.3lbs. Born March 15th, 02:31am.”

Fans, followers, and fellow TV stars were quick to share their congratulations to Storm – and her husband, Kerr Okan, of the rock band The LaFontaines – with Made In Chelsea star Ashley James writing: “Oh stop!! So cute. Congratulations Storm! I hope Sloan had a good transition into the world and you’re ok. Lots of love.”

Sloan is the younger sister to Otis – Storm and Kerr’s toddler son who was born in July 2022. After welcoming her son in 2022, Storm shared details of his dramatic entry into the world when she was interviewed as part of The Jeremy Vine Show while she was still on maternity leave.

She told the host and his audience: “I had a C-section booked because of diabetes but I ended up going into labor the morning of my C-section. So I was having contractions about five minutes apart as I was walking into the operating theatre.”

Explaining that she did not go on to have a natural birth, she added: “No, getting your head around giving birth is a challenge and I think they know that if you’ve got it in your head that this will be a c-section then actually having it changed can be quite a lot. C-section was definitely the best route for me.”

Storm and The LaFontaines frontman Kerr got married in September 2021 with a romantic ceremony taking place on the banks of Loch Lomond near her childhood home of Bishopbriggs. It is believed the couple first got together back in 2019, and they announced their engagement in 2020.

Storm shared a photograph of her huge engagement ring via social media at the time – while Kerr could be seen in the background holding a baby. She wrote alongside that dazzling photograph: “There are two absolute diamonds in this picture!! … The rings not bad either! #engaged @KerrOkan.”
