As Arabella Chi prepares to welcome her first child in May, the Love Island star admits she’s feeling extra grateful after being unsure whether having kids would be an option due to suffering from PCOS. The 33-year-old, who is expecting a little girl with boyfriend Billy Henty, told Mirror : “When I found out I was pregnant it was magical. With my PCOS I don’t know if I’ll be able to have more children so she’s special.”
PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) can make it difficult to conceive due to hormonal imbalances that disrupt ovulation. Arabella, who spoke to us during her lavish London baby shower on Saturday, 15 March, was diagnosed with the condition in July last year after suffering from excruciating period pain, acne and hair loss.

At the time, she admitted to suffering a miscarriage before the diagnosis. Now explaining that her pregnancy is ‘meant to be’, Arabella admitted she can’t believe the labour is only two months away.
If you’d have said to me a year ago that I would be having a baby I would have laughed in your face,” she admitted.
“I’ve learned to trust the timing of your life because life will happen how it’s supposed to happen. I can’t wait to become a mum to a baby girl. “I can’t believe that a year and three months ago I was in the Love Island villa. I feel so lucky to have found my forever partner.
Arabella was looking for love on ITV2’s Love Island: All Stars series in 2024, but failed to find a lasting connection during her second stint on the show, which she first appeared on in 2019.
However, she met beau Billy shortly after appearing on the show, and now gushes over the businessman during our chat. Chiming in, doting dad-to-be Billy smiles, “I can’t wait to be a girl dad. It’s life changing. It’s my own little family. Arabella’s amazing. She’s got a heart of gold.”
Despite not finding love on TV, Arabella has made some friends for life from Love Island, with the show’s former stars Olivia Hawkins and Georgia Harrison supporting her during the baby shower.
While former TOWIE and Dancing On Ice star Ferne McCann was also in attendance, admitting she has been sharing motherhood tips with Arabella.
Ferne, who is mum to daughters Sunday, seven, and Finty, 20 months, said: “It’s so lovely. We’ve had a few meals out recently with our partners. I’ve been giving her some advice on breastfeeding and the birth.”
