Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell has revealed his ten year old son Eric has a passion for learning how to play the drums. This comes after the 65 year old star watched auditionee Hrisca-Munn, who impressed the judges, including Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, with her performance of Robbie Williams’ Let Me Entertain You.

The hopeful, who was born without arms, performed the drum solo of the song, leaving Simon to reveal his son’s secret passion for the instrument.

The TV star and music mogul, welcomed his only child Eric in 2014 with partner Lauren Silverman. At the time, his relationship was the subject of much speculation as Lauren had previously been with a close friend of the TV star.

And shortly after Hrisca’s monumental performance, Simon then spoke to her backstage, where he revealed his son’s passion. He said:” My son has just taken up drums and he is going to watch this over and over again. That was inspiring.”r

Hrisca received four yes votes from all four judges, leaving her ecstatic to be heading into the following round.

.Simon had previously been known as Mr Naty due to his brutal, yet honest, account of a performance. However,it seems, on the back of becoming a father, his attitude has changed.

He told The Sun:” Ever since I’ve had a son you start seeing these kids and every time I think ‘god that could be Eric’ – if they’re like, eight, nine, ten, whatever. So by that point definitely, that has really had an effect.”

He added: “Apart from that, when I watched some of those clips just then it really did remind me that it’s those moments where you get surprised, and that’s what I love about the show.”

He continued: ” That moment where you can just feel everyone is involved and they like it, and it’s going to change that person’s life. You don’t know what’s going to happen, other than it’s just going to be good.”

And his co-host Amanda Holden said: “He did go soft for a bit but I feel like he’s coming back now. He’s up for it. “

She added: “He would never have let anyone throw things at him – you’ve changed so much, and I do think that’s because you’ve got Eric who throws things at you and jumps on you and all those things.”
