The Yellowstone prequel 1923 has smashed records with its season two premiere, becoming the most-watched debut in Paramount+ history, as it garnered a whopping 5.4 million viewers.

Starring screen legends Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, the latest instalment in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone franchise has been lauded worldwide.

This second season opener’s viewership represents a staggering 146% surge from the first season’s debut.

Critics are also loving 1923, which boasts a flawless 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the top-rated show within the Yellowstone universe.

The Dutton ranch faces severe trials in the second season, enduring one of the toughest winters to date, reports the Irish Star.
