Lauren Goodger recently revealed she had ‘ruined her looks’ after a string of cosmetic tweakments, but a resurfaced video of the star more than a decade ago had fans stunned
A resurfaced video of Lauren Goodger has left fans completely stunned. The reality star who found fame on ITV’s The Only Way Is Essex has been open about her cosmetic tweakments and transformation over the years after the programme catapulted her to being a household name.
Lauren, now 38, joined the reality show in 2010, documenting life in Essex, her infamous relationship and subsequent split from her ex-boyfriend, Mark Wright, and the firey arguments between the cast, including Samantha Faires, Maria Fowler and Lydia Bright.
Nowadays, though, Lauren looks completely different to her fresh-faced appearance 16 years ago, having gone under the knife on several occasions. It comes after Mel B’s ‘spiritual’ Moroccan wedding with non traditional dress.

Recently, a clip from a 2012 episode of TOWIE has resurfaced on social media, showing Lauren looking completely different while being interviewed for a job. In the 13-year-old clip, Lauren had very short blonde hair while boasting a natural-looking tan.
During the interview, she was tasked with selling a stapler to the individual looking to employ her. “Stapler, everyone needs a stapler. Obviously, you work with paper every day, it’s a great colour,” Goodger said. She added: “I think blue, it’s really cool and it’s a really nice colour. It can go with girls and boys, so it’s, you know, universal.
“So, yeah, I think it’s a great price.” When asked if the customer could have a discount, she responded: “Yeah, definitely if you can buy more than one, then definitely we can come to some compromising price.” The clip, which has been shared on social media was soon flooded with comments.
One fan said: “Lauren was so beautiful, naturally, she never needed to get any surgery! I love Towi,e but I think the middle years were the best series, the early ones were just a bit TOO scripted.” [sic] “Iconic tbh,” said a second. Meanwhile, a third follower penned: “Lauren was absolutely beautiful in the first series of TOWIE.”
“Ah the day of people having their own features still,” said a fourth. The clip resurfacing comes after Lauren said she believes she has “ruined her looks” following years of cosmetic surgery. Speaking to The Sun, Lauren said: “I’ve ruined my looks with surgery – I hate my fake boobs and bum now.”
She went on to explain that her “massive boobs and bum” have made her look bigger than she is, leaving her body looking “abnormal.” “When I look at myself naked in the mirror, all I see is lumps and bumps everywhere,” Lauren commented.
She has since had her “heavy” breast implants removed in order to have a more natural appearance. Taking to social media, she said that her boobs had been “perfect” beforehand but later said they “make her look big”.
Posing for a snap which she shared on social media wearing a sheer pink lingerie set, Lauren said: “11 years ago I had a breast augmentation, one of the things I regret later in life. I had the perfect boobs .. they have been great over the years but since being a mum and breastfeeding for 1 year they have now changed and I’ve always found they make me look bigger!
“Also they are heavy and I don’t like the idea of an implant being in me all these years and I miss my old boob so much.. so after looking around I’ve found someone that I feel really keen with having my consultation with @marksolomos.
“This is a HUGE step for me I’ve wanted to have them removed for so long but suffering with serve anxiety surgery is the last thing I can do! So it’s early stages but I am bringing you a long with me! I’m terrified but also for health reasons I’m having implants removed and bring back more to my normal self wanting to reverse everything back to natural.”
