Victoria Beckham’s apparent rift with her son Brooklyn has become “her worst nightmare,” sources have claimed.
Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz seemed to have snubbed David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations, which has led to reports of a feud within the family. Insiders say that things have “not been the same” since Brooklyn and Nicola, who is an actress and filmmaker, got together in 2019.
But a source close to the family say the recent scandal has led to a “wedge growing” between David and Victoria, and their son and his partner. Victoria, according to insiders, has felt the strain of the situation. One source said: “This is Victoria’s worst nightmare. The thought of any of her children falling out gives her sleepless nights.
“It’s been difficult with Brooklyn since he met Nicola, and there’s no denying that there was a family fallout over their wedding. But Victoria and David have worked hard to get things back on track, so this is a real blow.”

The insider spoke to The Sun, which reports Victoria and David worked hard to rebuild relations with Nicola, 30, following a feud that emerged between the two women in the lead-up to the wedding in 2022.
But The Mirror exclusively reported last night Victoria and David, who themselves have been married for nearly 26 years, recently “refused Brooklyn and Nicola peace talks” after they travelled to London “specifically to try to repair the relationship”.
Following this, 26-year-old Brooklyn and Nicola weren’t present at David’s birthday dinner at Core restaurant in Notting Hill, west London at the weekend. They also failed to join David and Victoria and their other children Romeo, Cruz and Harper when the family flew to France for a day of celebrations on Friday.
But a source toldThe Sun claimed the couple had intended to attend David’s 50th birthday party, but felt too uncomfortable to come after he felt Nicola was being blamed for the rift with his family.
Referring to the David and Victoria’s alleged decision not to meet Brooklyn and Nicola for peace talks, The Mirror’s insider added: “As parents, it’s shocking that Victoria & David are behaving this way… instead of privately discussing the issue. Victoria and David (appear to) have no interest in finding a solution that works for everyone.”
The bash itself was reportedly shut down at 3.35am, after nearby residents complained to the council about the noise. It is understood authorities had to step in to abruptly end the festivities. The Beckhams and their A-List pals were asked to turn the noise down, after the lavish meal turned into an all-out party. The guest list included the likes of Guy Ritchie, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsay.
Tom Cruise brought his new girlfriend Ana de Armas, while Becks’ former Man United teammate Gary Neville reportedly got stuck into the bar. The Overlap host was spotted with his wife Emma, stumbling out of Michelin-starred restaurant Core in the early hours of Sunday morning.
