A real strange game. Both sides seemingly going for it but also not going for it simultaneously.
Arsenal have made more defensive errors on the ball in one half than they have all year, and that has given Crystal Palace hope.
It means the Liverpool players will stick around for the second half with their champagne on ice and their cigars cut and ready.
Eberechi Eze’s volley from a corner by the way was stonking — one that Arsenal set-piece coach Nicolas Jover would have secretly enjoyed.

It has been a strange half so far.
We have seen three goals but both sides have shown all the passion and hunger of a night of intimacy with Donald Trump.
Let’s hope the managers can spark them into life for the second-half.

Not that it matters, the goal is all counts at this stage of the game.

His follow through catches the Chelsea man but the referee does not see fit to give a foul.

Credit where it is due to Kiwior, it was his sliding challenge that sent the effort over the crossbar.
The former Arsenal striker should have scored from that position, with his back to goal, once he had spun his marker.

Whether these Palace players want to take it easy with an eye on the FA Cup semi-final on the weekend, or whether they want to put in a shift to make sure they are in the starting XI.
