Hojlund future
MANCHESTER UNITED striker Rasmus Hojlund has emerged as a target for Napoli, according to reports.
The 22-year-old is being heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford prior to the summer window.
Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that Napoli want to sign him.
Man Utd allegedly want £50m for the striker, who is understood to be open to a return to Italy.
Napoli believe that convincing Hojlund to complete the switch will not be difficult.
Should the Denmark international swap United for Napoli this summer, it may open the door for a huge swap deal that could see Victor Osimhen head the other way.

“I started self-training because of Cristiano, I started doing push-ups and sit-ups every day before I went to bed because of Cristiano, because I wanted to be Cristiano.”

Greenwood future
MASON GREENWOOD could be on his way out of Marseille this summer following a “lack of effort”, according to reports.
Greenwood, 23, has fallen out of favour in France after his “attitude” was called into question by manager Roberto De Zerbi this month.
The forward, who joined Marseille from Manchester United in the summer, had been a regular starter for The Olympians all season, but had had to settle for cameos from the bench against Lens and PSG in recent weeks.
And manager De Zerbi seemed to hint that things need to change if Greenwood wants to keep his place in the side.
The former Brighton boss said: “No one can have more respect for him than I do.
“But that doesn’t change anything: I expect more from him. He has to do more, because what he is currently showing is not enough.
“If he wants to achieve his ambition of becoming a champion, he has to be more consistent, sacrifice more and be more determined.”

Skeptical Giggs
MANCHESTER UNITED legend Ryan Giggs addressed the controversial new stadium plans and doesn’t appear keen on a particular feature that caused uproar among the fans.
Giggs told the Manchester Evening News: “I think everyone, if it was possible, would like to keep the stadium as it is.
“What they’ve done at the Nou Camp, what they’ve done at the [Santiago] Bernabeu. If that isn’t possible, then the next best thing is a new stadium.
“Man Utd has always been at the forefront of technology, about having the best facilities, having the best stadium, having the best fan experience and we fell behind with that.
“As well as on the pitch, off the pitch, we fell behind with a lot of things.
“The design is not going to look like that, I don’t think. I think when you see buildings and it gets the headlines and it’s that sort of shock.
“But if it is going to be a new stadium, which it looks like, it needs to be the best. Hopefully we get the best players on the pitch as well.”
Giggs added when asked about the “circus” design: “I don’t think it’s going to happen!”

Butt slams Ratcliffe
MANCHESTER UNITED icon Nicky Butt has slammed the club’s long-term plan for success, claiming the proposed masterplan “ain’t gonna happen”.
Speaking at The Champions for Children Gala Dinner, according to The Times, he said: “If I’m being honest — and I don’t like to talk bulls***— that ain’t going to happen.
“There’s a long way to go for that. What gets me is when people talk about getting to where they want to be — everyone expects other clubs to sit still but they’re going to go forward as well.
“Newcastle, Liverpool will get better, [Manchester] City will definitely get better, Chelsea are getting better, Arsenal are getting better every year. And then obviously, there’s lots of smaller clubs as well.
“The most important thing is starting on the right foot and hopefully get this season put to bed, because it’s been a disaster.
“And hopefully we get some plans in place for the stadium, get some new recruitment in, and give Ruben Amorim the right tools to try and at least get a decent team on the pitch.”

Yoro ‘joined right club at wrong time’
William Gallas reckons Leny Yoro was destined to be a Man Utd star… just not in this era.
He told Spin Genie: “Leny Yoro is a talented player and I think it was normal for him to take the next step to go to Manchester United, I think it was the right club but at the wrong time.
“United are struggling and for young players like him, it can be really difficult to improve when the pressure is so high. You need time. He reminds me of Raphael Varane when he went from Lens to Real Madrid, he took the step to go and be bigger and better.
“I hope Yoro will really have the opportunity to learn. If you take the example of Varane, he had the experience of Sergio Ramos to learn from. Who has Yoro got at Manchester United?”

Marcus no legend
Jaap Stam reckons Marcus Rashford can’t be considered a Man United legend.
He told Makthavare.se: “For me, Marcus Rashford cannot be considered a legend at Manchester United, I think he left too soon to be considered as one.
“When you look at all his seasons at the club and for how many he performed at his best, he had one season under Erik ten Hag in which they changed the style of play and he scored a lot of goals and was a danger to every defence he faced.
“He got a new contract and everybody expected his form to carry on, but to be considered a true United legend you have to show that form for seven, eight or nine seasons.”

Jeremie the man for United
Jaap Stam has urged Man United to sign Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.
He told Makthavare.se: “Jeremie Frimpong can play as a right-wing back having also played as a right winger and a right back. He has pace and is very direct and can score goals as well as create chances for his team-mates.
“I think he would be a very interesting player for Manchester United to look at, he would fit the style of play on the right hand side, the only issue might be if the club don’t want to continue bringing in Dutch players going forward.
“But he has a lot of quality and is doing so well in a tough division in Germany, I think he would be a great fit for the system at United.”
